Thao Te President and Founder
Thao Te serves as President of No Limits Charitable Foundation. She started the foundation as a means of having a more direct impact in helping others further their careers or improve their quality of life through training and education. Additionally, the foundation serves as a vehicle for similarly-minded people to achieve their own philanthropic goals. The goal for the foundation is to connect those seeking or needing that additional support with others who wish to give back in a more direct and involved manner.
Thao also serves as Vice President of Busboom Group, a multi-family real estate investment and management company in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Additionally, Thao is also on the board for TLC, Texas Lawyers for Children, a non-profit organization, engages in legal and legislative advocacy, legal education efforts, and public awareness events to protect the legal rights of abused children and improve their court case and life outcomes.
Thao received her undergraduate degree in Real Estate and Marketing and an MBA, with a specialization in Finance, both from the University of Denver. Thao received Summa Cum Laude honors for her undergraduate achievements and the Scholarship Key from Delta Sigma Pi (highest scholastic achievement) and the Andrew H. Wood Award (highest GPA) for her graduate school achievements.

The Brave Who Crossed the Sea: A Memoir
“The Brave Who Crossed the Sea” is Thao Te’s first published book. She wrote this memoir as a gift to her parents. Her hope was to document their harrowing journey as a legacy for their family and a glimpse into Vietnamese American refugees achieving the American Dream. No Limits seeks to foster an environment where resilience, drive, and discipline are rewarded so people like her parents, Anh and Hong, can receive the support they may need not only to survive but also to thrive. Our hope is to encourage advancement by providing educational funding for those seeking to improve their quality of life. Proceeds from this book will go towards the foundation’s cause.
